A pair of LXV ormolu and Meissen three light candelabra
A fine and rare pair of Louis XV ormolu, bronze patiné and Meissen porcelain three light candelabra. The male figure represents a wheelwright, the female portrays a flax weaver. Both are modeled by Kaendler. A bronze patiné bower with porcelain flowers rests on an ormolu base consisting of pierced rococo scrolls. The candle holders and drip pans are also ormolu. |
