A pair of Loosdrecht winecoolers and underdishes after a Sèvres-porcelain example.
Decorated with polychrome entrelaced guirlandes of flowers.
\Marked: M:oL= Loosdrecht (1774-1782). These pair of winecoolers were originally part of a set of four. In 1960 the Rijksmuesum acquired the othe pair from Stodel. The remaining pair was sold at the time to a Dutch private collector and was recently bought from descendants of the erstwhile client. |
