Bouilloire on comfoor, attributed to Jacobus Carmignac

This bouilloire, attributed to Jacobus Carmignac, is made in Haarlem. The material is Tole peinte., in the second half of the 18th century one of the most fashinable materials. This bouilloire has a decoration depicting a medaillon in grisaille , with flowers on a background of imitation turtlleshell. See for literature: Drs.
